This is a copy of an e-mail which I have received from my good friend Padraígin Drinnan ,this is a lesson on not accepting the brit media at face value which in this womans case I must plead guilty.
Marty. Isaw your comment on Sean Bres article,firstly-the country is not Burma,that is like saying Londonderry.No one in the world says Burma other than the brits and the Americans.it was colonial name but it was always known to its own people as Myanmar.
The fact that this womam uses the term shows her history,she is the daughter of the brit military puppet put in place by the colonialists and rejected by the people.they keep calling her "the leader of the opposition" she is one mp among many.I think it is wrong of us to acknowledge the colonial history given to us on our brit media and in any way claim that she anything other than the brit rep in Myanmar.

With SF under the whip of the British, and , after accepting there own Britishnes , that's when the think tanks deep in the corridors of whithall got to work , they had and still have SF on puppet strings , They brought in the "SECRET EVIDENCE" card, You Cannot pass go , when we state you are guilty ,and, that we have Secret Evidence which will never be disclosed , we will be believed.

That's the sad facts we all have to live under in this NWO , until such a time when its forced upon the British to retract , by whatever means are available.

Just today Gerry McGeough lost his appeal to have his attempted Murder charge Dropped, his Solicitors stated that Gerry Kelly told him he could come back home because OTR's were exempt from prosecution!.

So, what chance do any of us have, with lying SF , MI5 secret evidence , The baloon has to pop sometime!.

What the internment of Marian Price and much more importantly, how the people she FOUGHT & DONE HER TIME FOR have reacted, has made me believe that we were a much more sincere and honest people when the Brits had us on our knees!

What I meant with the reference to Su Kyi was more the esteem the woman is held in by the public than anything to do with her politics, which admittedly I know little of. The point was meant to he a reflection of how Marian Price, while an ordinary woman like the rest of us, has become extraordinary due to the extraordinary circumstances that shaped her life. If I've reflected badly on Marian by this reference then of course that was not the intention at all

Sean, excellent piece! From my own experience of highlighting the plight of Marian's internment I have come to the firm conclusion that the circumstances she finds herself in is an absolute Pandora's box.
Furthermore, the muted political response from the O6C politicians and her former comrades epitomises the political realties that exists in the 06C.
Marian is a clear and unequivocal VICTIM of a deliberate mis-carriage of justice (the mysterious where abouts of her pardon etc) and her current status as a political guinea pig for the imminent introduction of the Justice & Security Bill was callously and meticulously contrived,
Marian yet again is subject to British injustice BUT this time her incarceration has little political expediency for anyone to gain. Rather than being treated as an icon of resistance she is portrayed by the media as a relic of the 'dark days'.
The British establishment are using her (Corey et al.) as a 'warning' to the rest of us that political dissent will not be tolerated and these are the consequences for those that dare raise their heads above the parapet to voice their concerns about Stormont HQ.
Yet, the burden of blame does not entirely rest at the door of Whitehall. Our political leaders resort to token quips in direct response to rumbles of discontent on the ground and also to be seen to be doing something.
And 'we the people' have had our part to play in Marian being illegally interned 712 days and counting! Where once we thronged the streets 1000's deep for Óglach Bobby Sands, in 2013 we can barely muster a footpath's width for an equally gallant Irish freedom fighter!! Why?? Is it because the we now deem the likes of Marian expendable in a political dispensation that our politicians now deem is the greater good??
Or maybe, Marian will have to die in a British gaol before the penny drops as to what exactly is transpiring around us??
So folks, let's keep the egotistical infighting going in our self- delusional 'I'm alright Jack' world's and don't forget to say a wee prayer that the British colonial 'knock on the door' doesn't come to your own door next!
