I think the problem of those Brian annoys is that satire and caricature are so powerful. Because it verbally says so little but has a lot of artistic licence it carries a potent punch. Enormous ring craft is necessary to evade it. And humourless minds simply aren't up to the task. Look at how the religious mob would respond to the late George Carlin when he ridiculed them. Same here. Same everywhere. Same always. They prefer it to be suppressed. So the battle between the censor and the artist continues.
