Brendan Mac Cionnaith gave an excellent response to the overture of Q$£,it was on FB a few days ago a cara ,maybe worth flagging up,it was I think a mature and thoughtful response, indicating that this party are at last beginning to get their wagon rolling .. if Seanna was speaking from outside the ranks of hypocrisy,then his remarks would have carried some gravitas..

I don't know why he remains with them. There is no republican ideological reason. But his frankness on that programme was interesting. If he is not acceptable to republicans as an interlocutor then I can't imagine who will be.

Noticed that eirigi rejected the overtures. I think they were right. What common ideological ground can be carved out between the republicans of eirigi and the catholics of Sinn Fein?

Noone can dispute or should even want to deny Seanna Walsh,s commitment to the struggle,however unfortunate his military career in that organisation was,what goes without saying is that Seanna has bought the line fed by the very same leadership that led him to walk that tunnel so many times,while they arranged the death of comrades on hunger strike,and made deals on making Seanna the volunteer redundant, even though the glorious speeches from the Ard fheis platforms were designed to create many more Bobby Sands and Seanna Walshs,its not Seanna,s commitment to the "cause"that is questionable here,but rather why after being incarcerated for so long on what is now clearly nothing more than a bit player in a few carpetbaggers political ambition does Seanna continue to buy into the big lie, but then looking at the house and lifestyle he and a few cronies now have it seems to me his redundancy payment was more than adequate.looking at where Seanna is now I for one dont think he as a member of a party of quislings can really tell anyone about the futility of armed struggle when in all reality it doesnt seem to have done him so badly.
