Aye Rory you may not be banned for beliveing in god but you may yet be dammed if you question his servants, those bastions of peace and love, and bugger me if I tell a lie as they say in Maynooth!
Yeah a lot of his servants are a bit off putting to say the least. I make the odd serious attempt to attend mass regularly, not to save my soul or avoid dammnation, but as a spiritual exercise.
But to honest I usually hear something that makes me mad during the sermon or the notices and stop going.
Havn't been in months since I saw an old priest give a Nazi salute and mutter "heil hitler" at a church function. He's half German I'm pretty sure he didn't do it in jest.
Former IRA volunteer and ex-prisoner, spent 18 years in Long Kesh, 4 years on the blanket and no-wash/no work protests which led to the hunger strikes of the 80s. Completed PhD at Queens upon release from prison. Left the Republican Movement at the endorsement of the Good Friday Agreement, and went on to become a journalist. Co-founder of The Blanket, an online magazine that critically analyzed the Irish peace process.

Apart from the auld religious crap at the begining that is typical Brian at his best.
Marty,
not much into religion myself! Brian is always good. He is a great artist and gets whatever message he has across so simply.
Being somewhat soft, I do believe in God. Totally spot on yet again Brian.
Rory,
you will hardly be banned for it!!
