I was speaking with a man the other evening about the erasing of the Free Marian Price slogans in North Belfast. He said he had asked about it and had been told it did not happen. There were kids daubing over stuff and their handiwork was later painted over by adults but that the Marian slogan remains untouched. He said while he disagreed with Cruncher's views he found it highly unlikely that he would paint over that type of slogan.

the person who told me was pretty convinced that the story was accurate.
Apparently, Marian's cousin was the one who actually caught them painting it out and a very heated exchange followed.

Nuala,

there is a very well argued article on the matter going out tonight from Paul O'Neill. It is well worth reflecting on.

Will the article be on the PTQ?
I just spoke to another source and they are satisfied beyond any doubt, that he Paul O Neill was caught red handed or white handed depending on the colour of the paint.

Anthony playing a quick catchup here before I,m away again but as Nuala stated the source is sound and also I believe it was indeed a relation of Marian,s who came across Paul O Neill removing the slogan and a heated exchange then ensued.

Ths issue being disputed is the motive not the action. But I am talked out with it!
